Around 12:30 p.m. today, there was a last patrol procession for Newton Police Sgt. Levi Minkevitch, who was killed in an ATV accident last week. Newton residents and others came out to show their last respects. The Newton Fire/EMS Department was there, flying a flag, and Evergy hung a couple of American flags, as well.
