Terry Dean Dover, 60, died April 22, 2018, at his residence in Peabody.
Terry was born March 27, 1958, in Port Lyautey, Morocco, to Ted and O’letta (Humphrey) Dover.
He served in the U.S. Army at Fort Steward, Ga., for two years. Later on, he became a postal carrier for the U.S. Postal Service where he retired after 28 years of service. He began his career in San Jose, Calif., and transferred to Thornton, Colo. Terry was an avid fan of rock music and sports. He attended many, many concerts and collected rock memorabilia. He had a good sense of humor and was very intelligent.
Terry is survived by his sons Richard Dover and Jaden Dover; father Ted Dover; brother Teddy Dover; and sister Barbara Ann Dover Dirlam.
He was preceded in death by his mother O’Letta Humphrey.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Petersen Funeral Home in Newton is in charge of arrangements.
