Obituary: Steve Bradbury

Steve Bradbury, 76, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away November 19, 2021. He was born in Wichita, Kansas, to John and Joyce (North) Bradbury. Survived by his wife, Shelley Bradbury; brother, Rick (Georganne) Bradbury, Terlingua, TX.; daughters Michelle (Tom) Bergquist, Newton KS and Kristin (Kirk) Gerdes, Morgantown, WV; three step-children, Chad Johnston, Derby, KS, Drew (Tonya) Johnston, Edmond, OK, and Janelle (Jason) Brines, Belle Plaine, KS; 7 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren; and 1 great-grandson. Steve grew up in Wichita, KS, graduated from East High School in 1963, and Wichita State University with a degree in Audiology. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Navy. His audiology work began in the Newton, KS, school district where he worked for 20 years before moving to Wichita where he worked for Hearing Health Care. The service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, December 4, at Zion Lutheran Church, 225 S. Poplar, Newton, KS with fellowship following the service for friends and family to reminisce.
