Sara was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 65 years Luis; her parents Amador and Rose Cardenas; and her sisters Lupe Terrones, Emma Cardenas and Estella Ruvalcaba.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, private family funeral Mass will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church followed by burial in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, both in Newton.
