Rose K. Yost, 99, of Moundridge, passed away July 9, 2021, at Moundridge Manor. She was born April 29, 1922, in rural Galva, the daughter of John C. and Eva (Koehn) Koehn.
She was united in marriage to Emery D. Yost on April 9, 1944.
Rose was a member of Garden View Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, rural Halstead.
She was a devoted homemaker.
Rose is survived by her children, Kathy Yost of Hesston, Esther Yost of Moundridge, Rita (Lowell) Koehn of Benito Manitoba, Canada, Don (Tamara) Yost of Halstead, and Susan (Milton) Unruh of Galva; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and sister, Evelyn Dyck of Moundridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 12, at Garden View Church of God in Christ Mennonite, Halstead. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends called from 3-5 p.m., Sunday, July 11, at Moundridge Funeral Home, with family greeting friends from 6-7:30 p.m. at the church.
