OBITUARY: Roscoe James Lewis

Roscoe James Lewis, 50, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021, in Newton.

He was born in Chicago to James and Clara (German) Lewis.He married Kimberly (Harms Gadberry) in 1991. He lived in Kansas and Arizona. He attended and was a graduate of Newton High School and Vatterot  College. He worked for Walmart and PPMA. He enjoyed fishing, camping and family time.

He was preceded in death by both parents, stepfather, uncle James German and grandparents.

Roscoe is survived by his wife Kimberly of Newton, daughter Adreanua of Newton, and son Jerth of Wichita; brothers Donny (Rose) Pasilas of Savannah, Ga., Harry (Donna) Reid of Hutchinson, Michael Reid of Newton, and James (Carrie) Reid of Newton; brothers-in-law John (Nanatte) Groves of Newton, Garrett (Jeniffer) Addler of Round Rock, Texas; mother-in-law Jane and Jim Tash of Hesston; aunts and uncles Joan Tankersley of Estill Springs, Tenn., Garry German of Estill Springs, Tenn., and Sharon (Dan) Bowen of Park Forest, Ill.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Aug. 6 at Mrs. Lewis’ residence. Please RSVP at 316 212 1348.

In lieu of flowers, please place a memorial to The Roscoe Lewis Family to help the family with expenses.
