BURRTON—Ronnie L. Decker, 82, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
He was born Nov. 20, 1940, at Great Bend to James W. and Hazel M. (Brough) Decker.
He was a quality control supervisor for Liberty Mobile Homes.
He served for 10 years in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Burrton American Legion. He also served his community as president of the Burrton Library Board. He loved to hunt and fish and was an accomplished Texas Hold ‘Em player.
On Jan. 25, 1969, he married Wanda J. Tibbets at Great Bend, and she survives of Burrton.
Other survivors include his daughter, Morgan (Dan) Rhodes, Newman, Ga.; son, Carl Andrasek, Great Bend; very special niece, Ginny Usher, Bernville, Pa.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Dean and Clark Decker, and sister, Sue Ellen Messer.
Graveside service and inurnment were at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 22, at Burrton Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Burrton Public Library in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
