OBITUARY: Roger Cutting

Roger Cutting, 91, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita.

He was born Nov. 14, 1927, at Bentley to Frank and Lucinda (Ramsey) Cutting.

He attended and graduated from Bentley High School.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge both of Monte Vista, Colo.

On June 6, 1948, he married Ella Mae Hilbert at Burrton. She preceded him in death April 24, 2003.

Other survivors include sons Glenn (Louwana) Cutting, Collinsville, Okla., Larry Cutting, Anchorage, Alaska, Kenneth (Rhona) Cutting, Denton, Texas, and Duane Cutting, Portland, Ore.; daughter Sharon (Ken) Bingham, Lexington, Ky.; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son Ronald Roger; brothers Dean and James Cutting; and sisters Juanita Cutting and Delores Grier.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. The family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, also at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.

Pastor Buddy Aldrich will officiate.

Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Bentley.

Memorials are encouraged to Kansas Masonic Home in care of Kaufman Funeral Home.
