Obituary: Robert Lee Robinson

Robert Lee Robinson, 75, of Goessel died Friday, Aug. 19, 2016. surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Aug. 13, 1941, in Nevada, Mo., to Francis and Marie Robinson. Robert was a graduate of Humbolt High School, and served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany.

Robert and Deborah (Sicka) married May 26, 1983, in Iola. He enjoyed traveling around Kansas, and he loved Bass fishing, especially in ponds. Time with his grandchildren was cherished, and he loved teasing them. Robert worked at AGCO as a painter until he retired. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Marie Robinson.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Robinson; daughter, Susan McMurtrey; stepdaughters, Stacy Haire, Anna Braden and Cheri Irvin; stepsons, James Light, Scott Light and Eric Walters; brother, Earnest Robinson; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

No services will be held.
