Raymond (Ray) Medric Crannell passed away on May 26, 2023, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Harlo and Cora Crannell; his life partner, Nancy Koehn; and sisters, Janet Bowersox and Sharon Hein.
He is survived by his sister, Carol Rogers of Colorado Springs; sons, Timothy (Tim) Crannell of Newton and Anothony (Tony) Crannell of Bellville, and his daughter, Erica Rowson of Salina; grandchildren, Jeffrey, April, Damon, Blaze, Benjamin, Meadow and Rayne; and many nieces and nephews.
Ray worked for Superior Boilers in Hutchinson for 30-plus years before retiring to Newton with his life partner, Nancy Koehn. Ray was a beloved son, brother, father and uncle. He will be missed by his family.
Graveside services for Ray will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 8, at Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Phoenix Hospice and left in care of Petersen Family Funeral Home in Newton.
