LeRoy J. Derksen, 72, of Hesston, passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021, at Newton Medical Center.
He was born June 9, 1948, in Mountain Lake, Minn., the son of Cornelius L. and Lydia M. (Pankratz) Derksen.
He worked as a computer engineer for AGCO in Hesston for a combined 40 years.
LeRoy was a member of Grace Crossing Church in Moundridge.
He was united in marriage to Diane Gass on Feb. 7, 1970, in Hesston. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include his daughter, Shannon Derksen of Hesston; brother, Lester Derksen of rural Moundridge; and sisters, Vernell (Dale) Koehn of Hesston, Florence (Tom) Almond of Wichita, Jeanette Nixon of Newton, and Millie Derksen of Hesston.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C.L. and Lydia Derksen.
