OBITUARY: Kimberly ‘Kim’ K. Martin

Kimberly “Kim” K. Martin, 46, of Moundridge passed away June 7, 2022, at her home.

She was born Feb. 11, 1976, in McPherson, the daughter of Jay Martin and Barbara Thomson.

She graduated from Moundridge High School with the class of 1994.

Kim was a dietary aide at Schowalter Villa in Hesston for 17 years.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing at Harvey County West Park. Kim loved her dogs and was known for helping anyone in need.

Kim is survived by her mother, Barbara Vaughn of Moundridge; common-law husband, Duke Fattig of Moundridge; three sons, Michael Altum of Wichita, Eric (Destiny) Bevins of El Paso, Texas, and Andrew Harris of Salina; daughter, Calissa Fattig of Halstead; grandson, Braydon Bevins; four brothers, Rick (Jess) Godwin of Missouri, James Martin of McPherson, Dusty (Sharon) Vaughn of Texas, and Ben (Erica) Vaughn of Tennessee; and one sister, Shannon (Bill) Tonsor of Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Brittaney Fattig; and maternal grandparents, Dale and Carol (Phillips) Thomson.

Cremation is planned. Family will greet friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at Moundridge Funeral Home.
