Judy was a longtime active member of the Grace Hill Mennonite Church. She retired from Prairie View in Newton after 30 years, where she worked as a continuing education coordinator.
Judy enjoyed her country home, where she cared for many animals through the years and especially enjoyed her cats. She liked to spend time outside tending flowers and gardens and found great joy mowing her acreage. Assembling and sewing quilts was also an enjoyable pastime, and she shared many of her quilting creations with her family and friends on special occasions. Her greatest joy was her family, and she looked forward to spending time with her loving family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Michael and his wife Jodi Janzen; grandchildren, Grant Janzen and his fiancé Olivia Eck and Madison (Jordan) Frederick.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Jeffery Janzen; and sister, Ruby Kurr.
