Jose “Joe” Corona, 94, died Sept. 18, 2021, at his Newton residence. A family-only graveside committal with Naval military honor’s will be in the St. Mary Cemetery Newton with Father Jorge Lopez officiating. A register book will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton for friends and family to sign.
