OBITUARY: Guadalupe ‘Lupe’ Llamas

Guadalupe “Lupe” Llamas was born June 3, 1970, in Newton and passed away on May 4, 2022, in Houston, Texas.

Lupe is survived by his son, Christian Elliott of Pasadena, Texas; brothers, John Ward and wife Margie of Conroe, Texas, and Joseph Llamas and wife Brenda of Humble, Texas; sister, Tina Lacca and husband Jason of Humble, Texas; nieces, Cheyenne Lacca of Pasadena, Texas, and Brandy Ward of Pasadena, Texas; nephews, Jacob Ward of College Station, Texas, Jason Lynn Lacca of Humble, Texas and Joseph Llamas Jr. of Humble, Texas. Lupe also leaves to mourn a host of friends and relatives.

Lupe was a very devoted Houston Astros fan who could recall nearly every Astros stat in his lifetime and before. He could tell you the date, time and score with detail! He worked delivering papers for the Houston Chronicle for many years. He worked hard and loved hard. Lupe was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by all.

Graveside services and interment will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, at the Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.

Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
