Obituary: Edward A. Huntington

SEDGWICK—Edward A. Huntington, 76, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at Diversicare of Sedgwick. He was born, May 5, 1942, at Moline to Don and Faye (Downs) Huntington.

He was a resident of the Bentley area for more than 30 years.

He worked as a technical writer for Raytheon, and his hobbies included training horses, and mules. He also loved to coon hunt and breed Walker Coon Hounds.

On Dec. 16, 2016, he married Nancy S. Moss at Sedgwick. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include sons Mark (Kathleen) Finney, Cabot, Ark., and Justin (Tina) Huntington, Andover; daughter Tamara Smallwood, Bartlesville, Okla.; brother Bob (Helen) Huntington, Tulsa, Okla.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by sisters Donna Rae Kill, Nadine Denton and Betty Jordan.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, at Halstead Cemetery with Chaplain Larry McCrary officiating.

Memorials may be given to the Parkinson’s Foundation in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
