Dolores P. Rioz, 91, died May 27, 2021, at her home, surrounded by family.
She was born Sept. 15, 1929, the daughter of Ignacio and Maria (Netti) Martinez.
Dolores was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother; she was all around great.
She is survived by her daughters, Antonia Espinoza and respected children and grandchildren and Anna Sanchez and respected children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; brothers, Albert Martinez and Benny Martinez; and sister, Molly Martinez.
Visitation was from 1 to 5 p.m. on Monday, May 31, at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton. Rosary was at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 421 S. Ash St., in Newton, Kan, with the Reverend Jorge Lopez, Celebrant. Burial was in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery Newton, Kan.
Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and left with Petersen Funeral Home.
