Obituary: Deanna “Dee” Kelsheimer

Deanna “Dee” Kelsheimer, 70, died on Oct. 4, 2022, at NMC in Newton.

Deanna Kelsheimer is survived by her mother, Jeanne E Holliday of Kingman; stepsister, Denise Butterfield of Topeka; stepbrother, Dallas Holliday of Colorado; her daughter, Roxane C. Johns; her son, Brian D. Kelsheimer, and his wife Willa; and her two grandchildren, Roxandra and Izak Grob of Newton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis E Kelsheimer of Newton; her sister, Carole Saylor, of Bentley; and her dad, Norman Spore, and her stepdad, Dennis Holliday, of Kingman.

Deanna Kelsheimer was born on Dec. 12, 1951, to parents Jeanne and Norman. She graduated from Newton High School in 1969 and went on to graduate from business school. Deanna was an amazing person and a loving mother. She married Dennis Kelsheimer on Aug. 3, 1978, in Kingman, and the couple had two children together, not including Timothy, who was stillborn.

Deanna enjoyed drawing and doing crafts in her free time.
