OBITUARY: Curtis Ross Means

Curtis Ross Means passed away peacefully on Feb. 16, 2023, at the age of 91. Curtis was born on Oct. 9, 1931, in Topeka to Harry and Olive (Weeks) Means. He was the youngest of three children.

Curtis was predeceased by his wife, Rose Mary (Harms) Means; parents, Harry and Olive (Weeks) Means; and brother, Harry Means.

He is survived by his sister, Marjorie (Means) Boston; three children, Steve Means, Karen (Means) Abernathy and Bill Means; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren in the making.

Visitations will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, March 3, at the Petersen Family Funeral Home in Newton. Graveside funeral services and burial begin at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 3, at Grace Hill Mennonite Church and Cemetery in Whitewater, with a reception to follow. Family and friends are all welcome.
