Obituary: Charlotte Ann Gaskill-Carroll

Charlotte Ann Gaskill-Carroll, 74, of Newton, passed on Dec. 30, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Sept. 30, 1942, to Mary and William Carlson in Wichita. She married Bill Gaskill and together they had three children, Jeff, Pam and Vicki.

Charlotte was a homemaker, and she enjoyed sewing and cross stitching. She also enjoyed Christian romance novels. After the passing of her late husband, Bill Gaskill, Charlotte married Cliff Carroll. She was a wonderful mother, a great persevering spirit and had a great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. With her wish to help others, she became a cornea donor, giving the gift of sight.

She was preceded in death by parents, Mary and William Carlson; and husband, Bill Gaskill.

She is survived by husband, Cliff Carroll; son, Jeff Gaskill and wife Rachel; daughters, Pam Mayberry and Vicki Johnson and husband Russ; and four grandchildren.

Funeral service was on Tuesday at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in Newton. Burial followed the service in Greenwood Cemetery of Newton.
