Arline M. Bachman, 88, passed away Saturday, Feb 17, 2018, at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
She was born Nov. 2, 1929, in McPherson, the daughter of Harry and Anna Reimer Young. She was a member of the Hesston Mennonite Church, the Kansas Twins Association and the Hesston Senior Citizens Center.
On Oct. 27, 1950, she married Weldon “Bud” Bachman at Moundridge.
She is survived by her husband, Bud of Hesston; sons Larry (Valorie) of Newton and Randy (Shannon) of Hesston; a twin sister, Aline Bachman of Hesston; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry, a daughter, Vickie Bachman, a brother Wilbur Young and a sister, Stella Stull.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 22, at Hesston Mennonite Church, Hesston. Burial will be at a later date in West Zion Cemetery, Moundridge. Family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, at the Schowalter Villa Chapel, Hesston.
