Betty V. Decker

Betty V. Decker died on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, at the Halstead Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on June 27, 1928, to Matilda (Eck) and Ben Decker in rural Kansas.

Betty was employed many years for Wesley Hospital as a medical transcriptionist. Upon her retirement, she enjoyed garage sales, thrift shops, health stores and her cats. Betty also enjoyed learning foreign languages and had earned her bachelor?s degree in German.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her brother, Paul Decker.

Survivors include a niece, Deborah Brewer Wichita.

Visitation and funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, and the graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m., all at Restlawn Garden of Memories.
