Weather a factor in fatal crash on Highway 50

The crash happened at about 8:30 p.m. Monday just west of Emma Creek Road. According to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2009 Kia Spectra driven by Wanda Ivy, 47, of Newton was eastbound on Highway 50 traveling at a slow rate of speed due to weather conditions.
