WALTON—The City of Walton’s 14th Annual Rural Life Festival, Saturday, Oct. 1, will have food vendors, breakfast, lunch, a car show and live music, among other activities.
The day starts off with breakfast served by the city’s fire department from 7 to 9:30 a.m.
There will be a lunch to benefit the school from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., sponsored by Walton State Bank. The Walton Lion’s Club will hold an ice cream social from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
There will be a car show starting with an 8 a.m. registration, with awards to be announced at 1:20 p.m.
Other events include live music, face painting, a children’s pedal tractor pull, a barrel train for kids to ride and a quilt auction.
