The Harvey County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help for more information about the human remains found April 3, near a hedge row near East First Street
and North Rock Road.
Sheriff Chad Gay said law enforcement is confident they know the identity of the woman – which has yet to be released. His office is awaiting on dental records and an autopsy to confirm the woman’s identity and release that information.

“We still have no idea how she died but we’re hoping maybe someone would have some information about her,” Gay said. That information would include who she was last seen with, or where she was last seen.”

According to the release, the cause of death of the woman has not been identified and it is not known if foul play was involved.

“Anyone with information regarding the death should contact 911,” it stated.
