Harvey County active COVID-19 cases hit 54-day low

Active COVID-19 cases dropped to their lowest total since July 8 in Harvey County, Tuesday.

The County now has 15 active cases listed and 292 confirmed cases, total.

One resident remains hospitalized, 272 have recovered and five people have died.

Harvey County Health Department Director Lynnette Redington reported that 4,498 residents had been tested for the disease.

The two-week percent positive test rate in the county was at 13.4 percent.

The rolling daily average of new cases remains stable, as well.

As of Tuesday, the county averaged about 2.4 cases per day over a week time period. That number was the same as the amount the week prior.
