HALSTEAD—Health Ministries Clinic in Halstead will be offering free COVID-19 testing from 9-11 a.m., every Tuesday in July, beginning July 7.
Testing is open to everyone, whether or not they have been experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. No appointment is necessary.
The testing will be done in a drive-thru style, and you’ll remain in your vehicle the entire visit. The test will take about eight to nine minutes and will be with a nasal swab.
It’s not an antibody test, so it only can tell if you have an active infection. People should be notified of the test results in a week or less.
Please bring a photo I.D., as well as a copy of your insurance card if you are insured. If you have medical insurance, the co-pay will be waived. If you are uninsured, your test will be funded by the CARES Act.
