One person is dead after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of 125th Street and Meridian Ave on the Sedgwick County boarder.
According to Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Lt. David Hein, law enforcement is still investigating the cause of the collision, that occurred a little around 7:30 p.m.
However, it appears a Red Ford Mustang collided with the driver’s side of a silver Dodge passenger vehicle.
That silver vehicle ended up in the ditch of 125th Street.  Its driver was pronounced dead, according to comments Hein made at the scene.
The driver of the Red Ford Mustang was transported to a Wichita Hospital with minor injuries and is in his 20s.
Hein said those in the accident were local and the family of the deceased had been notified. Their name was not released at the scene.
