NEWTON—The driver of a truck lost control and hit a house on the north side of the 1300 block of West Broadway.
There was one occupant in the truck, and no injuries were reported, Newton Police Department Sgt. Brandon Deck said.
There was at least one ambulance and one firetruck, as well as a number of police department vehicles, at the accident, which happened around 4:15 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 3).
There was some damage to the home, but as far as first responders could tell, the damage wasn’t structural, Deck said.
