More people being vaccinated, less people getting COVID-19

COVID-19 cases have remained steady since last week.

The County saw 16 new cases this week, about the same as last week. The total brings cases to date up to 3,665.
There are 15 active cases.
Two more people have been hospitalized.
All new cases and hospitalizations involve those who have not been fully vaccinated.
The county saw its vaccination numbers bump up over the week. After weeks of decline, newly vaccinated numbers were 12.6 per 1,000 people for the week, increasing total rates of those to 43.37 percent of residents having received one dose and 55 percent of those over 16 having received one dose.

Harvey County ranks between fifth and sixth in Kansas counties for most vaccinated populations, using various metrics.
