Harvey County saw 15 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the active case total to 16, down two from last week.
All 15 cases occurred in individuals not fully vaccinated. Ninety percent, or 112 out of 124 new cases since May in the county, occurred in the not fully vaccinated part of the county’s population.
Currently, no person is hospitalized.
As of Monday, 56% of those eligible for a vaccine (12 and over) received at least one dose; 43.2% of the total population had received at least one dose. Approximately 85 new people received vaccines this week. Total county vaccination count increased by a quarter percent.
Harvey County ranks fifth in eligible population vaccinated in the State of Kansas and sixth in total population vaccinated.
Total vaccination rates are about 3.2% higher in Harvey County than the State of Kansas.
