From Harvey County Health Department
The Harvey County Health Department has confirmed 10 new cases of COVID-19 in Harvey County.
Harvey County has had 210 COVID-19 cases to date, including 204 confirmed and six probable cases. There are 34 known active cases in Harvey County. Four individuals remain hospitalized.
There have been 3,786 tests for COVID-19 conducted in Harvey County.
As of today, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment confirmed 31,730 cases of COVID-19 in the state to date. The KDHE reported 326,669 completed tests in Kansas.
The local confirmed cases include:
- A female in her 50s. She is a close contact in the family unit of a known active case. She had previously quarantined as a precaution, and has already met recovery criteria.
- A female in her 40s. She is a close contact of a known active case.
- A female in her 20s. Her source of exposure is unknown.
- A female between 10-and-19 years old. She is a close contact in the family unit of a known active case.
- A male in his 80s. His source of exposure is unknown.
- A male in his 50s. He had known out-of-state travel.
- A male in his 30s. His source of exposure is unknown.
- A male between 10-and-19 years old. He was in contact with another individual with COVID-19 in another county.
- A male between 10-and-19 years old. He is a close contact in the family unit of a known active case.
- A male under 10 years old. He is a close contact in the family unit of a known active case.
All of the above individuals are in home isolation. The Health Department will regularly monitor the health of the individuals, as well as follow up on all close contacts.
