Halstead High School celebrates its graduates

HALSTEAD—Halstead High School graduated 48 seniors Saturday afternoon.

Eleven students in the class belonged to the National Honor Society. Thirteen students graduated with high honors (3.75 GPA or higher) and eleven students graduated with honors (3.5-3.74 GPA). The class finished with a cumulative 3.32 GPA, according to HHS Principal Chad Baalman.

Three seniors spoke to the full gymnasium—Emma Boese (Valedictorian and student body president), Ella Haight (Salutatorian), and Zain Maknojia (Senior Class President).
