Former Newton City mayor and commissioner Glen L. Davis passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
Davis, who owned Davis Pest Control, was 74, according to a notice of Davis’s passing received by Harvey County Now.
Davis joined the Newton City Commission in 2011 when he ran against seven other candidates and won one of three seats up for election. He was re-elected in 2013 and 2017 and served eight years in public office.
