On Friday, I had the opportunity to attend a poverty simulation at Newton High School for school district administration and staff but not teachers. It was interesting. Rebecca Lewis-Pankratz formulated the training based on her life as a single mom living in a trailer. She’s with ESSDACK, and many of those taking part were separated into “families,” which were based on real-life families. Lewis-Pankratz said
