A week of illness brings thoughts of home

This month I fell prey to a nasty wintertime illness. It felt like the worst flu of the century but tested negative for Influenza A or B. At least that! During six days of fever, chills, cough, headache, muscle aches and crippling fatigue, I had plenty of time to contemplate plenty of things.
