Newton test scores improve

By Adam Strunk Newton High School ACT test scores increased during the 2016-2017 school year across the board and outpace state averages. According to information provided by the school district, as a whole, the 157 students who took the test scored an average composite of 21.9 slightly ahead of the state’s 21.7 average composite score.
