By Wendy Nugent, Newton Now When Margo Schrag wanted to join the Bethel College Mennonite Church Mission Quilters decades ago, she had a little surprise. She basically had to audition her hand quilting. “The first time I came, they turned off the lights and looked,” she said about the members examining her handwork. This was sometime after 1984, after a co-worker asked her to join.
