Fair time: Smith kids involved in 4-H projects

By Wendy Nugent, Newton Now Rural Walton residents Faye and Clayton Smith will judge a variety of animals as 4-H’ers during the Harvey County Fair, so they’ll be judged on their judging by judges. As part of the livestock activity, which is a team event but the kids are judged individually, 4-H’ers attempt to rank a variety of animals like the “official” judges did. Faye said
