City pays $265,000 for more logistics park land

By Adam Strunk The City of Newton’s buying more land for the Kansas Logistics Park. The Newton City Commission approved the purchase of 40 acres of land to add on to the existing Kansas Logistics Park. The purchase will cost the City of Newton $265,000. Newton Public Information Officer Erin McDaniel said the city attempted to purchase the land when putting together the logistics park
