The FOCUS (Families or Caregivers under Stress) group will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 5, in Newton Presbyterian Manor Library, 1200 E. 7th St. in Newton. This month’s meeting will discuss “Sharing Support.”
The FOCUS group supports caregivers of older adults experiencing Alzheimer’s disease or other kinds of dementia. Helen Brown, director of social services at the Newton Presbyterian Manor, and Wendell Wiens, retired medical doctor, are co-facilitators. Meetings are free of charge and open to newcomers at any time.
